You may want to go to a printer who can offer digital or litho, some offer both. With digital printing though it can be reasonable quality it varies depending on the printers ( the machines) actually used and their quality and age; development of digital printing moves fast so somewhere with the latest high end printers may be able to almost match lithographic quality.

Lithogrpahic print quality still remains the best though and may make financial sense anyway if you are printing more than 500 of one item. Beyond 500 the cost per unit for lithographic comes down dramatically; what you will want to avoid though is getting more than you need. It may seem to make sense to get more, especially if you really can’t make do with digital but you could waste a lot if you don’t use items up. Many businesses get very long runs done of things like packaging, business cards or flyers only to find out that they change a phone number, special offer or other detail soon after: meaning that there is a huge amount of waste. Also consider that with digital there is no extra cost in getting various copies of promotional literature done which could each be aimed at a different type of customer.
